The Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. in the Village Office with respect to a Resolution which is pending before the Village Board. The Resolution provides for the issuance and sale by the Village of Earlville, in accordance with the New York State Finance Law, of bonds in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $263,750.00, to be used for the purchase of a 2006 Pierce Enforcer Pumper from Fire Trucks Plus of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. This potential acquisition, initially funded pending approval of a loan and grant from USDA Rural Development, is in accordance with the period of probably usefulness as set forth in New York State Local Finance Law. Immediately following the public hearing the board will re-enter the special meeting.
