The DPW will be flushing hydrants this evening. This turbidity will likely loosen sediment, so your water could be rust-colored for several hours. We recommend you do not do laundry this evening or Friday. If you run your water for several minutes it will usually clear up your water. This rust-colored water is not a health hazard; but since it is unappealing to drink or cook with, we recommend running your tap for several minutes to clear it up.
